The Greensboro Youth Chorus recently had a truly unforgettable experience when they took center stage at the launch event for ‘My Music with Rhiannon Giddens.’ The Grammy-winning musician and series host, Rhiannon Giddens, is a native of Greensboro and was once a member of the Greensboro Youth Chorus. It was a full circle moment for her to return to Greensboro and celebrate the launch of the captivating series on PBS, which celebrates innovative musicians and storytellers who have paved their own unique paths to find their voices.

The performance Greensboro Youth Chorus gave at the launch event showcased the talent and dedication of the young singers. It was an honor for the Greensboro Youth Chorus to be part of such an important event and showcase the skills they have developed throughout the year.

About the Greensboro Youth Chorus: 

Greensboro Youth Chorus is a performance-based music education program. We provide a space for singers grades 1-12 to explore their love for singing. Our students learn music-reading, sight-singing, and choral techniques. We perform a wide range of repertoire from diverse places, times, and composers.
