Zach Roberts is a West Virginia native who first, truly fell in love with choral singing as a fifth grader in the WV All-State Children’s Chorus. Since then, though he’s continued to sing with large and small choral groups–including performances at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Washington National Cathedral, London’s Westminster Central Hall, and a myriad of other churches and concert venues–he didn’t pursue music as an educational focus or vocation. It’s always been a hobby.
Zach earned his undergraduate degree in English as well as visual fine arts from Hampden-Sydney College–where he sang with two choral groups and one a cappella group. Seeking to develop as a writer, he earned his graduate degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Zach is a NC Realtor with experience as a middle and high school humanities teacher, a writer, an event planner, and an assistant to a pastry chef. He sings most frequently with the sanctuary choir at Lawndale Baptist Church where he also serves on the worship leadership team and at Alamance Christian School where he leads worship for weekly chapel services.
