Assistant Conductor Brittany Kaehler to Lead Bel Canto Season-Opening Concerts

Bel Canto Company will open its 2025–26 Season on October 5 & 6, led by Assistant Conductor Brittany Kaehler for the choir’s first concerts of the year.

Artistic Director and Conductor, Dr. Welborn Young, is temporarily away for a planned surgery to address a chronic back issue. While we will miss him during this opening weekend, Dr. Young will return during rehearsals for our December concerts. In the meantime, we join our Board of Directors in wishing him a smooth and speedy recovery.

Regular concert-goers will recognize Brittany from here work conducting portions of previous concerts. She has been integral to the preparation of this program and is well-prepared to guide the region’s premier choral ensemble. We are delighted to showcase her the talents in Myth & Mystics!
