Liz Doebler is excited to return to Bel Canto Company after an extensive hiatus. She is the Director of Music and Worship at Trinity Covenant Church in Greensboro. She also enjoys singing with the Quintessentials, an a cappella jazz ensemble. She has appeared as a soloist and member of the Robert Moody Chorale with the Winston-Salem Symphony, as well as Bel Canto Company of Greensboro, for which she served as assistant conductor for three years. Doebler previously directed the Cantata Singers at UNC School of the Arts. At High Point University, Liz served as Assistant Director of Choral Activities, teaching Women’s Choir, Chapel Choir, voice and conducting lessons. Internationally, she performed in the Schlern International Music Festival in Italy and sang under Simon Carrington with the ACDA National Youth Choir in England. A Rochester, NY native, Liz completed her DMA in Choral Conducting at UNC-Greensboro, where she also earned her Master’s in Vocal Performance. She completed her Master’s in Music Education and Bachelor’s in Music Education/Vocal Performance at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. Liz lives in Jamestown with her husband Geoff and their two children.
