Anne Lewis is blessed to be a part of the BCC family for another season. Dr. Lewis recently retired as music professor and choral director at Averett University, but still continues her summer journeys with young musical theatre performers at Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan. With music degrees from Baylor University and UNC-Greensboro, Anne has performed as a choral singer and pianist across the United States and Europe, along with over four decades as a musical theatre music director. She looks forward to even more performance opportunities as a “gig” musician, conductor, teacher, actor, and coach in retirement. Anne is a fervent believer in the power of the human voice to elevate lives and attitudes, which Bel Canto Company evokes in every rehearsal and performance.
