Brittany Kaehler is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Choral Conducting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). She serves as the Assistant Conductor for the Bel Canto Company and Gate City Voices in Greensboro, NC. In addition to her academic work, Brittany is the Choral Director at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, where she continues to inspire and guide vocal ensembles in worship settings.
Her dedication and musical excellence have been recognized by her peers, culminating in her receipt of the prestigious Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) Graduate Conducting Scholarship in 2021. She now contributes her leadership skills as the Director of the Graduate Conducting Scholarship for SAI Philanthropies, Inc.
Brittany brings a wealth of experience to the field of music education and conducting. She has served as a clinician for numerous All-County Choral Festivals and has conducted or been involved in the premieres of several choral works. Previously, Brittany served as the Director of the Children’s Music Ministry and Assistant Director of the Youth Choir at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in High Point, NC. Before relocating to Greensboro, she was the Choral Director at North East Carolina Preparatory School in Tarboro, NC, and the Director of Music at Red Oak Disciples of Christ Church in Greenville, NC.
Brittany holds a Master of Music (MM) in Choral Conducting from UNCG and a Bachelor of Music (BM) in Music Education, with a concentration in voice, from East Carolina University.
