Cathy West holds a Bachelor of Music Education (piano) from UNCG, and recently retired after over 30 years as a full-time church musician, most recently as the Senior Director of Worship and Arts at Christ United Methodist Church in Greensboro, NC. She has also served as Director of the Greensboro Symphony Guild Women’s Chorus and Assistant Conductor/Guest Conductor of the Choral Society of Greensboro, rehearsal accompanist for Greensboro Opera Company, and piano soloist with the Philharmonia of Greensboro. She is married to fellow musician Wally West and proud mom to son Aaron, a professional musician and jazz educator currently living in Tampa, Fl. Cathy is excited to be back with Bel Canto this year after serving as accompanist over 20 years ago!
