Darlene is originally from Wisconsin, where she was an IT professional.  She sang with the Madison WI Symphony Chorus and with the University of Wisconsin’s Choral Union, a town and gown group.  After many years of classical music, she made a change and sang with a Sweet Adeline group.  Since retiring and moving to Greensboro, she has sung with the Choral Society and Women’s Chorus of Greensboro.  She also enjoys singing and playing ukulele in a quartet, spending time with her grandkids, walking, and playing mahjong.  She is very pleased to be a part of Gate City Voices.
