Eby Buscher graduated with her MM in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2021, studying with Dr. Robert Wells, and her Bachelor of Music Education from the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College in 2019. Along with Bel Canto Company, she has sung with Piedmont Opera, Greensboro Opera, and Opera Carolina, as well as on campus with UNCG Opera Theatre and UNCG Chamber Singers. During her undergraduate career, she performed with the Gettysburg College Choir, Camerata, Opera Workshop, and as a featured soloist with the Buzz Jones Quintet. Recent performances include Nella in Gianni Schicchi, First Tourierre in Suor Angelica, Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, and Filia in Jephte. Ms. Buscher has placed as a winner in the Allegheny Mountain Chapter of the NATS vocal competition for four years, as a winner of the North Carolina State Adult Women category for Musical Theatre, and qualified for Nationals in the Classical Treble division. She has attended the Young Artist program, Si Parla, Si Canta, and the Art of Song program, Orvieto Musica in Orvieto, Italy. Eby currently teaches voice lessons at Stagelights Theater Company and is an admissions counselor for High Point University.
