Emily Ennis is a soprano and actress based in Greensboro. This is her first season with Bel Canto!
Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Opera from the Longy School of Music and a Bachelor’s Degree in Voice from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. She currently works as an early childhood music teacher with Kidstunes Music & Movement, and as a drama teacher with Drama Kids of the Triad, The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem, and UNCSA Acting Out.
An avid performer, Emily’s most recent roles include Ceres in The Tempest with Shared Radiance, Marian Paroo in The Music Man with Theatre Guild of Rockingham County, and Elsie in The Yeomen of the Guard with Durham Savoyards. She will appear this upcoming season as W in Lungs with Sleepless Nights Theatre, and in the chorus of Verdi’s Ernani with North Carolina Opera.
