Emily Mote, soprano, has appeared in productions with Opera at the Carolina, UNCG Opera Theatre, Greensboro Light Opera and Song, and Opera of the Carolinas. Her roles include Giulia (The Gondoliers), Sister Claire (Dialogues of the Carmelites), Carly (The Alien Invasion), and ensemble performances in Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Fledermaus, and Amahl and the Night Visitors. Emily is also an active church musician, serving as soprano section leader at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Greensboro since 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied with Dr. Robert Bracey. A dedicated educator, Emily is an elementary music teacher in Guilford County Schools and a proud mom of two.
