John is a lawyer in Greensboro, where he lives with his partner Betsy and their daughter, Flora. John has a background in gospel, classical, and contemporary music, and got his start with the Grimsley Madrigals. In addition to singing and his work as an attorney, John is also the head varsity coach for the Grimsley High School Men’s lacrosse team, and sings at New Garden Friends Meeting.
