Jordan Castillejo

Jordan is delighted to be entering his rookie season with Bel Canto. Although he was not a music major, Jordan was active in vocal performance at his alma mater Wheaton College (IL), singing in the Men’s Glee Club under the direction of Dr. Mary Hopper and in The Mikado under direction of Dr. Holman. He began singing in middle school for church choirs and eventually chamber choir in high school as well as state chorus before attending Wheaton.

Mr. Castillejo took some time away from musical performance after graduating to pursue professional goals including becoming a cardiovascular perfusionist—currently employed at Moses Cone—and working as a professional soccer official for US Soccer. Recently he began using his healthcare skills overseas as a volunteer in Kenya at Tenwek Hospital. When he’s not treating patients or fitness training for soccer, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife and four children camping, hiking, fishing or just playing board games together at home.
