Kayla Sorenson, soprano, is a seasoned choral singer with over 20 years of diverse choral experience both as a singer and as a conductor. She is new to the Triad Area and is excited to be joining Bel Canto Company for her first season. Kayla has performed extensively across prominent venues such as Carnegie Hall, Dallas’ Meyerson Symphony Hall, and more. She has performed and recorded with Millennial Choirs and Orchestras for the last decade, where she served as the 2nd soprano section leader. Kayla has a rich history of collaboration with renowned artists, including notable performances with Met Opera’s Erin Morley, David Archuleta, and Kool & the Gang.

Kayla holds a degree in Business Communications and currently works as the Office Manager and Marketing Director at Berky Hinckley Orthodontics. Most days you can find Kayla relaxing at home with her husband, Brice, their five amazing children, two cats who think they rule the world, and a collection of lucky crows that live in her yard.
