Melissa holds her Bachelor’s in Music Performance from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN where she studied harp and was a member of the world-traveling Trevecca Madrigalians chamber choir. She has appeared in several theatrical productions such as The Secret Garden, The Sound of Music, Once Upon A Mattress, and Fiddler On The Roof. Having recently moved to North Carolina, she is thrilled to join Bel Canto after having already sung under Dr. Young in Gate City Voices. She currently works as the manager of props & programs at the Miriam P. Brenner Children’s Museum. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and spending time with her husband Daniel.
