Rebecca Oden Pugh

Rebecca Oden recently graduated with her Master’s in Collaborative Piano from UNC-Greensboro where she was a graduate assistant. She was a rehearsal and performance pianist for the UNCG Opera Theatre, working on productions of Menotti’s The Telephone, Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance from UNC-G, where she was awarded the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award and a Student Excellence Award. Rebecca currently works as a staff accompanist at Elon University and has previously been a staff accompanist for UNCG’s Musical Theatre department. She is the pianist at Alamance Presbyterian Church and maintains a thriving freelance career in the Triad area. Rebecca is thrilled to join Gate City Voices this season and return to her roots in choral singing.
