Samantha is thrilled to be singing in her 8th season with The Bel Canto Company. She has a Bachelors of Music Education from UNCG and taught in Guilford County schools for 6 years. Over the years, she has performed and music directed a number of community theatre shows, including The Wizard of Oz, The Music Man, The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins.

In her spare time, she enjoys crosswords, puzzling, and is now in her second year as a competitive speed puzzler in North Carolina and nationally. She believes speed puzzling and music are closely tied, forcing one to focus on small sections without ignoring the bigger picture and making quick adjustments and decisions to enhance your performance.

She wants to thank her husband, Garrett, and daughters, Brynn and Calla, for supporting her love of choral music.
