Mark your calendars! Auditions for new and returning singers in both Bel Canto Company and Gate City Voices for the upcoming season will be held at the end of April.

Those auditioning for Bel Canto Company will:

• Participate in both an individual and group audition session
• Sing excerpts from Britten’s Heaven-Haven and Bach’s Lobet den Herrn alle Heiden for your individual audition (Scores will be provided in advance.)
• Return for a 15-minute group audition at the end of the audition day

Those auditioning for Gate City Voices will:

• Sing a brief (30 seconds) song of your choosing (a capella) that shows off your voice the best
• Sing up and down a major scale (a capella) in the key of your choosing
• Vocalize for range and tone quality (led by Dr. Welborn Young at the piano)

Friday, April 28
Individual Auditions: 6:00-9:45pm
Bel Canto Company Group Auditions: 9:45-10:00pm

Saturday, April 29
Individual Auditions: 1:00-5:45pm
Bel Canto Company Group Auditions: 5:45-6:00pm

Sunday, April 30
Individual Auditions: 2:00-5:45pm
Bel Canto Company Group Auditions: 5:45-6:00pm
