Greensboro Youth Chorus invites rising 1st–6th graders to experience the joy of singing, movement, and creative expression at our 2026 Summer Choir Camp! Join us for one or both weeks of fun, learning, and music-making with experienced music educators in a welcoming and energetic environment.
Week 1: Once Upon a Song
Join us for a week of music and creativity at “Once Upon a Song,” a summer music camp full of fairytales, legends, and fables. They might even come back with a few new friends and stories to tell all their own!
In addition to singing, campers will enjoy hands-on art activities—like making friendship bracelets and other creative projects that highlight kindness, connection, and teamwork.
Whether your child loves to sing, create, or simply make new friends, this camp is the perfect place to grow through music!
Dates & Times:
🗓️ Week 1: July 20–23, 2026
🕗 Daily from 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
📍Peeler-Hampton Visual and Performing Arts Elementary
🎨 Camp activities include:
• Choral rehearsals
• Singing games & music reading
• Creative movement & dramatization
• Visual arts & improvisation
• A special “inform-ance” for family and friends each Thursday at 12:15 PM!
🍎 Breakfast and lunch provided in partnership with Guilford County Schools.
💲 Tuition: $125/week
🎓 Need-based financial assistance available.
