The mission of Gate City Voices is to create an inclusive performance outlet for community singers seeking musical excellence. Now in its fifth season, Gate City Voices is an auditioned, volunteer choir that performs alongside Bel Canto Company, presenting expansive choral works. The chorus sings a wide variety of music—from works by well-known names of the choral repertory to those of underrepresented composers whose music is often absent from the concert hall—and settings that range from a cappella to lush chamber orchestrations.
