  1. We attended the Saturday night performance of Classics and Beyond. It was a very eclectic and diverse program. I personally liked the variety and appreciated the attempt to shape a different architecture to the program. The two pieces with the violin were challenging. It takes some getting use to the different harmonics. The William Tell Overture and The Barber of Seville Overture were just plain entertaining and fun.
On a different note, I would also like to praise the March 27th concert at First Baptist. It was over the top and I hope it was recorded.

    1. Thank you so much for your continued support and kind words Pat. We do not take your presence in our audience throughout the years for granted and can’t wait for you to see what we have in store for next season!

  3. Monday evening’s concert (12/9/24) was magnificent! I had already attended four holiday concerts this season, and yours was by far the most glorious and uplifting. Loved every note — especially being able to sing “Hallelujah” with you!

All of the selections were excellent — kudos to Bill Young for his impeccable programming. In particular, “Go, Tell It…” and “O Holy Night,” an old chestnut that often sounds like it’s being phoned in, were absolutely stunning. They both sounded fresh and energized.

Keep on doing exactly what you’re doing. Your choirs are an immeasurable artistic blessing to the community.
