Bel Canto’s second virtual performance this spring features “Ballade to the Moon” by Daniel Elder. Elder also wrote the words for this lovely setting. His poem of romantic images invites us all to relish an evening in June, to be overwhelmed with peace and beauty, to give in to the moment. The work is an invitation to “Come dream in me…Come, sing with me!” so that we may together “…weep with joy beneath the moon.”
